This episode is getting huge, and I need to remember what I need to write. I could just write this out in a word document, but the last time I did that for this episode I couldn't remember what half the things on the list were supposed to be. For some reason, I do better with these lists online.

This list may be considered minorly spoilery.

Adding to as needed. )

Also, I cannot believe how many times I've rewritten this one scene in this episode. I keep all the versions of things I write, in case I want to go back to them (even though I never do), and there are seriously four or five versions. The problem I have is that when I write for Jacob, I always end up going back and deleting 95% of his dialogue.

The good news is that I'm finally really happy with how that scene worked out.

Wtf bunny mood theme on here?

Yeah so, at this point? 208 is more or less Deception Pass goes smut/erotica/me giggling like an idiot while taking 45 minutes to write a 5 word sentence. Thank goodness there's going to be a hell of a lot more going on than what I've written so far. Honestly, it's not even that big of a deal, except I'm mentally 12.

And I DID NOT INADVERTANTLY TYPO MY NAME IN PLACE OF DEANNA'S IN THIS ONE SCENE WITH JAMES.

Again, good thing I don't believe in hell.

I think I'm going to hell because of a scene I wrote today. O_O (So it's a good thing I don't believe in hell.)

I'm extremely worried about how it'll play out with people, but it has some serious angst-potential, works very well with the over-all plot of this episode, and leads well into the vague ideas I'm already having for the next episode (209), which means it stays.

I'm off to get some therapy now.

I've been doing quite a bit of writing over the last few days, and as such have gone back into a folder I made back in September or October of last year that had some drafts of the next episode in it in order to read over things I'd written just to see if I could work them into the new 'vision' of what the episode was going to involve. There were pages and pages of things I had no idea I'd written. I was able to salvage three pages of a scene with Andy, Glass, and Jade.

There was also this scene with Lois and Mr. Twinkles that I have no memory of writing. )

I should be able to work this in, as well. It's just really weird for me to read things I don't remember writing.

I joined a writing prompt community recently in the hopes of flexing the novel-format writing muscles. So far I haven't had any time at all to follow the prompts, but hopefully soon I'll get a chance to.

End pointless rambling.
